To its couturier labels, Solaris will be adding in the near future two American brands, CK and Polo Ralph Lauren. Both brands have mastered and advanced the aesthetics of American design; simple but sophisticated, innovative yet practical, relaxed but luxurious. The new brands will definitely appeal to Dubai's fashion brigade.
As men are becoming more in tune with fashion, a pair of sunglasses is a must-have accessory that not only completes the overall look, but is also a lifestyle statement. For those who make excellence, perfection and quality the key values of their lifestyle, Solaris will be launching the luxurious Montblanc, known for its unmistakable rounded star, representing the snow-covered peak of the highest European mountain.
Montblanc sunglasses, handmade and inspired by the famous Montblanc Meinsterstuck writing instruments, are designed with the same precious materials: high quality black resin or tortoiseshell and gold plate.
Katia Andrejev, Middle East Brand Manager for Solaris, said:
"Solaris is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest fashion trends. We have been receiving tremendous feedback from customers and we are proud to be offering them the best in terms of brands, styles and quality."
"Events like Dubai Fashion Week prove to be the perfect platform for us to showcase our latest stylish and exclusive range of sunglasses," added Andrejev.
During the event, Solaris also hosted the 'Model of DFW 2008' contest, whereby models got the opportunity to win the coveted title as well as the latest pair of sunglasses from high-end brands like Tom Ford, Dior, Marc Jacobs and Dolce and Gabbana.
As part of its future plans in the region, Solaris will be adding exclusive new brands that include Marc by Marc Jacobs, Balenciaga and Jimmy Choo to its current portfolio. The addition of these brands will consolidate Solaris' position in the Middle East as the leading high-end sunglass retailer.
In addition to Solaris's stores in Deira City Centre, in Debenhams department stores in the Mall of the Emirates and Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai, The Avenues in Kuwait and Kuwait International Airport, Villagio Mall in Qatar, Bahrain City Centre in Manama and Mall of Arabia in Jeddah, expansion plans are set for Solaris to open new stores in Dubai, KSA and Oman. Commenting on the new stores opening, Andrejev said:
"Not only are we introducing more brands and new collections, but we are opening soon new stores in Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina Mall and Arabian plaza in Dubai."
