This year it has declared the wagamama chain the most popular restaurant of the year, beating several Michelin starred kitchens including Gordon Ramsey and Nobu.
Opened in 1992, there are more than 60 wagamama outlets worldwide including three UAE venues operated by the Abu Dhabi based hospitality and restaurant specialist Rmal Hospitality.

wagamama triumphed over popular celebrity restaurant The Ivy, where the wait for a table can be anything up to six months and the most expensive starter, a plate of Sevruga caviar, costs AED 630.
Commenting on the wagamama win, Tim Zagat, the founder of the guide said:
"Its popularity is helped by the fact that there are many branches and there's no doubt about it being great value for money."
Earlier this year the results of the UK-based 'Mystery Dining Company', who invited unknown diners around the world to review wagamama outlets, voted wagamama in the Greens, Dubai the best in the global chain.
wagamama Al Fattan, Dubai came in a close third.
