SYNC is the newest technology to emerge from the Ford-Microsoft relationship and is available on most 2009MY Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles.

Based on Microsoft Auto software, SYNC is designed to simplify consumers' use of digital media portable music players and mobile phones and enjoy them to the fullest, while in the car.

Waldo Galan, Ford Middle East's managing director and Vimal Sethi, Developer & Platform Group director, Microsoft Gulf, led SYNC's Middle Eastern debut through this year's Gitex Technology Week at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) inside Sheikh Maktoum Hall.

The technology is shown on the all-new 2009 Flex, the latest full-size crossover from Ford.

Ford's participation makes them the first automobile manufacturer to establish presence at Gitex.

The all-new Ford Flex is the Official Gitex Technology Week Car.
