The exhibition, which will be held on December 3-6 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre, will showcase a wide range of the latest car models, various types of auto parts and accessories as well as other products and services for all car owners in the sultanate. Organised by Omanexpo LLC, the Motor Show is the biggest event in Oman for the auto industry and the four-day exhibition has been sponsored by V-KOOL Oman for many years now.

Alaa Jarrar, General Manager of V-KOOL Oman, said:
"Supporting Motor Show 2008 is consistent with our leading position in the market for heat control films here in the sultanate. Our product has been installed in thousands of cars in the sultanate and in more than 18 million vehicles worldwide, and it has always delivered in providing protection and comfort to all of our clients."

Jarrar pointed out that V-KOOL is the only clear film that allows natural light to pass through while blocking out as much as 94% of infrared heat. Named by Popular Science magazine in 1999 as one of the Top 100 Inventions of the Millennium, V-KOOL was a result of advanced research conducted at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the U.S. in the 1970s. The technology is now widely used not only in vehicles but also for architectural applications.

According to Jarrar, V-KOOL offers a wide range of benefits to car owners. By screening out infrared radiation, it effectively lowers a car's cabin temperature, resulting in more comfort for everyone inside. It also has the capability to block up to 99% of harmful ultraviolet radiation, which is a risk factor for many health problems including skin cancer. In addition, V-KOOL provides protection against broken glasses in the event of an accident, and the clear film gives all these benefits without affecting visibility and clarity.

C.J. Paul, General Manager of Omanexpo LLC, the leading organiser of trade and consumer shows in the sultanate, said:
"We are very pleased to once again receive the support of V-KOOL Oman as their participation ensures that Motor Show 2008 will truly cater to the needs and interests of all car owners and motoring enthusiasts."

Paul stressed that Motor Show 2008 will feature the latest and most advanced car models with the strong presence of Oman's leading car dealers who represent many of the world's well-known vehicle brands. The exhibition will also display a wide selection of auto parts and accessories and other products such as entertainment systems, car insurance and financing schemes, lubricants and air-conditioning systems.

In addition to V-KOOL Oman, Motor Show 2008 is also supported by Ahli Bank as the floor plan sponsor and Automan as the official magazine.
