Large Saudi group awards Monu-Tech Technology revamping project
- Saudi Arabia: Sunday, January 05 - 2003 at 16:24
- PRESS RELEASE
A.A.TURKI Group (ATCO), one of the largest privately owned groups in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today awarded Monu-Tech Information Systems, an Al-Khobar based ACCPAC solution provider, a project to revamp the group's technology infrastructure.
The project, according to Monu-Tech's general manager, Mohammed Najer Al-Utaibi, streamlines the group's business processes, standardizes software across the 17 companies owned and managed by the group, and links the offices across the kingdom to a centralized database in Dammam via a secured network. "We are very proud to be part of such a large scale project." he says.
Monu-Tech, will be in charge of the entire consultancy, business processes redesign, and system implementation. The company has chosen ACCPAC to be at the heart of the implementation. "The group needed a software platform that offers extreme flexibility in customization, implementation and scalability, given the diversity and fast growth of the group" said Al-Utaibi.
The project, he explains, allows for greater efficiency in assets utilization and a large degree of control over the group's diversified businesses, processes and data, along with unmatched financial management efficiency, thanks to ACCPAC's Internet based solution, Advantage Series. "One of the key benefits of the project is that it centralizes the group's data and software systems on one server that the group's staff can access from any of the offices around the Kingdom," explains Al-Utaibi. "This means that the cost of the project has been greatly reduced and that access to consolidated real-time financial and other operational reports is now possible at the finger tips of the group's management."
Ziad Al Turki ended saying: "ATCO's investment in its own technology capabilities confirms the group's commitment to continue its active participation in the economic growth and advancement of the Kingdom through superior trade, service, and management activities."
Marc Van der Ven, general manager for ACCPAC Middle East said that the ATCO implementation is solid proof of ACCPAC's worldwide formula for success: "Around the world, we focus on delivering superior software through strong local partners armed with experience and business know-how, to achieve successful implementations for our customers. Our solutions today are designed to help Saudi companies grow and make their operations more streamlined. Thanks to the expertise available at Monu-Tech, our clients can rely on excellent local support to help achieve and exceed their targets." ACCPAC business management applications, such as Advantage Series, are 100% web-based solutions that allow enterprises to increase efficiency of their accounting and operations departments and thereby improve their competitiveness in the Middle East market.
