Axiom launches mobile solutions division

Axiom Telecom, the region's leading mobile phone retailer, has launched a new a mobile solutions division to offer value-added mobile services directly to consumers and enterprise customers.

Axiom Telecom is the largest authorized distributor and retailer for international mobile phone brands such as Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Motorola, Thuraya and HTC. Axiom specializes in wireless communication products and boasts more than 500 outlets in prime retail locations across the region.

Faisal Al Bannai, CEO, Axiom Telecom, said:
"The mobile solutions division will focus on creating and distributing value-added services and solutions including Mobile Payments, Mobile Banking, Mobile Marketing and SMS2TV services that meet the growing needs of our mobile customers. As part of the new service offer, Axiom has signed an exclusive partnership deal with Vipera, the leading provider of mobile financial services and mobile services platform. In particular, Vipera has solid experience in providing mobile solutions for banking and payment facilities which will enable Axiom to commence immediate market activity providing necessary services to the financial field.
