With the new offering, Microsoft is set to leverage its expertise in the growing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software market in the Gulf, which is estimated to reach $300m (Dhs1.1bn) by the end of 2009.
In Dubai to announce the launch at Gitex 2008, Henk Bruinekreeft, Regional Director, Microsoft Business Solutions, Middle East & Africa, said:
