Located at D9-1 in Sheikh Rashid Hall, Panasonic's stand has been divided into individual exhibition zones so visitors can fully experience the different Panasonic technologies on display, especially the world of 'high definition' products.
Taeko Danno, Deputy General Manager of Corporate Communications at Panasonic Marketing Middle East, said:
"We have designed different exhibition zones for visitors to see and explore our most advanced products and solutions in real life setups. In the consumer electronics zone the focus will be on showcasing products which will give visitors a taste of what 'living in high definition' is like."
Top of the Panasonic must-do list, and in fitting with the grandeur of its stand, is the world's largest Plasma TV - the massive 150 inch Viera HDTV. This enormous screen is the size of nine 50-inch plasmas combined and delivers amazing image quality with 8.84 million pixel resolution (2,160 x 4,096), which is more than four times that of a conventional 1080p HD plasma television (1,080 x 1,920).
Another exciting new technology in the Viera line-up are Panasonic's latest super-thin, ultra-robust neo plasma displays measuring less than one inch at its thickest point. Within the Viera line-up Panasonic is showcasing the 'Neo PDP', which have just been launched in the region
Other zones include an AV section which features Panasonic's latest range of innovative and stylish LUMIX digital still cameras and camcorders. One of the key components of the new Lumix line-up is the user friendly iA (intelligent Auto) option which Panasonic has introduced. iA enables easy and fun photography by leaving all settings to the camera's inbuilt intelligence. Users can simply just point and shoot, and the camera does the rest, producing pictures any pro would be proud of.
The highlights of this year's Lumix line-up are the trendy, compact and stylish LX3 and the G1, all of which visitors at the Panasonic stand will be able to experience for themselves.
Designed for easy, creative shooting, the new LX3 has earned an enthusiastic following among both professional photographers and serious amateurs for its exquisite image rendering, superior operating ease, and unique triple-wide system comprising wide-angle lens.
The G1 is an entirely new concept of digital camera with its digital interchangeable lens based on the new Micro Four Thirds System Standard, which combines the ease-of-use of point-and-shoot compact cameras with the superb image qualities of Digital SLR cameras. "We believe the G1 will be an ideal camera for anyone interested to get serious about photography without the technical complexity of conventional digital SLRs", says Panasonic Marketing Middle East Product Manager - AV, Hitesh Ojha.
In the camcorder zone, Panasonic is most eager to share its HS100 and SD100 high definition models aimed at ambitious amateur videographers. Both cameras feature the 3MOS technology which produces sharper and more life-like images compared to conventional camcorders, a new 12x zoom Leica Dicomar lens system, which prevents colour bleeding and enables crisp, clear, and free of flare footage. The two cameras are the world's first to feature Panasonic's iA technology in a camcorder.
An area dedicated to system solutions presents Panasonic's highly advanced and effective turn key solutions targeted at industry applications. Solutions on display will satisfy most industrial needs with an emphasis on Education, Hospitality, Security, Meeting Rooms and Office Automation.
