Tarbuck has strong connections to the Dubai International Financial Exchange and the Dubai Financial Services Authority and has advised on a number of high profile transactions across the region, including most recently representing Al Wa'ab City W.L.L., the Qatari developer of Doha's keynote residential and commercial property development, on the equity participation of its $1.25bn equity, mezzanine and senior debt financings.
Tarbuck's practice focuses on all aspects of corporate finance, with wide-ranging experience advising on flotations and secondary equity fund-raisings for listed companies. His practice also includes public and private company M&A and joint ventures, restructurings and corporate counselling.

Tarbuck joins Latham & Watkins from Norton Rose, where he worked both in the firm's London and Dubai offices. He read modern history at Newcastle University and completed his legal training at the College of Law in Chester.
