Khalid Faraj Al-Said wins Technology CEO of the Year

CEO Middle East Magazine Awards are awarded to CEO's that have accomplished great milestones within the region.

These awards publicly distinguish business leaders who, through a combination of leadership skills, incisive vision and strength of character, have advanced their organization's strategic goals, both locally and abroad.

Winners were selected by a panel of ITP's senior editors.

The announcement was made during a gala dinner held by the magazine at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai and was attended by a group of key businessmen and the region's media representatives.

The ceremony also featured the presentation of 15 prestigious awards to the region's top business leaders, selected from a wide spectrum of industry sectors, including property development, banking, hospitality media, energy, construction, technology and corporate social responsibility, in addition to an International Achievements award, Lifetime Achievement awards and a Female CEO of the year award.

Commenting on this occasion, Al-Said said,

"I am proud of the confidence the jury has placed in me, and I will continue working to reach higher goals and overcome whatever challenges that we might face. This title is a new achievement to be added to ITS's series of continuous successes. I extend my gratitude to all our staff, whose dedicated efforts throughout the year have led to these outstanding results."

Al-Said has contributed considerably to the advancement of his organization's strategic goals, both locally and regionally.

Enjoying a strong strategic, operational and leadership background for over 20 years in the areas of business management, he has been instrumental in rolling out several initiatives that positioned ITS as a leading integrated information technology solutions provider.

He also helped in expanding ITS's business realm to reach important sectors such as banking and finance, communications and higher education.

Earlier this year, Al-Said has been named the 'Middle East Entrepreneur of the Year' by leading Pan-Arab business magazine, Arabian Business Arabic.

ITS has also been voted Best Islamic Technology Provider 2008 by the readers of Islamic Finance News, the world's leading global Islamic finance news provider.
