"In a tight and competitive economy, devising revenue streams from a strategy is a real challenge to all involved in the business process - because many are not cultivating a customer relationship that matters."
Sharief Habib Al Awadi, Director General, Fujairah Free Zone Authority (FFZA)

The aim of the workshop was to provide knowledge and skills in logistics and supply chain - the 21st century strategy that will facilitate the economic growth of Fujairah in the next decade. This workshop marks the beginning of a series on Logistics and Supply Chain Management specially developed by TransLogistique Canada (TCL) www.translogistique.org - a consulting company with over 20 years of track experience in training people around the world.

Now, in association with Business Services Est, in Fujairah, the Canadian consultant will work with companies and their executives participating in the high-powered workshop to unlock the value of their customer relationships. TCL will leverage real-world experience to help participants deal with their customers in more skillful and satisfying ways especially in the value added logistics services. TCL delivers on this promise by optimizing the interaction between people, process and systems within the organization to achieve higher levels of customer satisfaction and greater return on investment (ROI).

TCL will do this in 3 ways:

1) Skills Training to enable customer-facing personnel to deliver exceptional levels of customer service;

2) Design and Implementation of business process techniques to serve the customer in efficient, effective and consistent manners; and

3) Identification of the appropriate business processes to automate, enabling companies to get the most from their investments in technology.

Mr Khaled Al Mazroui, General Manager, Fujairah International Airport also participated in one of the sessions where customer service skills research report by Council of Logistics Management, USA was discussed for the benefit of all participants. He also gave away the certificates of completion to all participants who came from the port of Fujairah, Fujairah International Airport, Etisalat, V.Ships and other private companies. One of the prominent and motivated participants, Fatima Obaid Rashid, recommended that this sort of logistics workshops should also be provided for managers of government departments and private companies.
