The record-breaking results come just six weeks after the end of the summer promotion, which set new highs for coupon redemption in the Sultanate.
Commenting on the success of the campaign, Ibrahim Al Qasmi, General Manager of Muscat City Centre, said:
"We welcomed more than one million visitors during the month of September, and our footfall was 71% higher than the corresponding Ramadan period in 2007. These figures show how strongly Muscat's retail industry is growing, and we are glad to play an important and contributing role in this."
Muscat City Centre, the country's leading shopping centre in terms of size and variety of retail brands, acts as a town centre and the social hub for the capital's residents, and regularly participates in community activities and public events.
