ADIC fills key senior positions

Abu Dhabi Investment Company (ADIC) today announced two senior appointments that will further strengthen the management of the first investment company in Abu Dhabi, and one of the leading firms in the Middle East and North Africa.

Chris Coombe and Pascal Mang have been appointed Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at ADIC, providing together over 45 years of specialized industry experience.

Nazem Fawwaz Al Kudsi, CEO of ADIC, said:

Chris Coombe carries over 28 years of international financial experience gained in Europe, Asia and the USA, most recently having held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Fidelity International. Prior to that, Coombe held the positions of Group Financial Controller at Schroders PLC and International Operations Officer at Morgan Stanley International.

Furthermore, Coombe spent almost a decade at Prudential Securities Group, ending up in the role of International Controller. Coombe is a qualified English Chartered Accountant.

Pascal Mang holds a PhD in Law from the University of Zurich as well as a Master of Comparative Jurisprudence from New York University and is admitted to the bar in Switzerland.

He has broad legal and compliance experience within the financial services industry. After having started his career in 1990 in private practice, he became a Legal Adviser at UBS AG`s Group Legal Department and subsequently held the position of Senior Legal Counsel and Vice President at Citigroup Zurich, covering both the Private as well as the Corporate and Investment Bank.

Most recently, Mang has held the executive positions of Head of Compliance & Corporate Legal Switzerland, a function which he built up from scratch, and then Head of Investment Structures Group Europe at Man Investments.
