Passengers travelling through Dubai airport can now log on to Marhaba Services website to make their booking for Marhaba's innovative meet-and-greet and lounge services with greater ease, speed and efficiency, completing both their booking and payment on line.

This saves customers' time and eliminates the need to book by phone and visit the airport to make the payment - the whole transaction can now be completed in a matter of minutes using the new on-line service.

This new electronic booking and payment service has been developed and launched in conjunction with Dnata's own web services and has been created in response to customer demand, as well as recent research revealing that internet use in the GCC countries has increased phenomenally in recent years and that the UAE remains the Arab leader in terms of internet user penetration rate.

Drawn from many nationalities and cultures, Marhaba's friendly, multi-lingual staff are specially trained to cater for the needs of families, VIP passengers and corporate business travellers alike, making their journey - whether arriving, departing or just passing through Dubai International Airport - a stress-free experience, round-the-clock, 365 days a year.

Jon Conway, Divisional Senior Vice President of Dnata, Airport Operations said:
"We are delighted to offer this new internet booking facility as part of our on-going commitment to provide the very best technology, access and service to all our customers. Travellers increasingly demand the convenience of organising their itineraries via the internet and so we have invested in this latest enhancement to our on-line services in order to provide customers with high quality and efficient access to our services."

In addition, bookings and payment for Marhaba's meet-and-greet services can be made in person at Dnata Travel outlets across the region. Iain Andrew, Divisional Senior Vice President, Dnata Travel Services explained:
"At Dnata Travel we aim to provide our customers with the highest level of service and convenience. Our Dnata Travel centres are now equipped to be innovative, 'one-stop shops' when it comes to service provision. This latest expansion to the range of services reflects our commitment to ensure our customers' whole range of travel needs are taken care of quickly and efficiently, making the whole process stress free."

About Marhaba Services:

Marhaba means "welcome" in Arabic. The word reflects the warmth and hospitality of the Arab culture, and it is the hallmark of Marhaba Services. Operated by Dnata, part of the Emirates group, Marhaba was launched in December 1991 as an exclusive meet-and-greet service for passengers travelling through Dubai International Airport.

The service has now expanded to include luxurious Marhaba Lounge facilities which for a modest price are available to all travellers regardless of airline or class of travel. They also offer tailored family packages, Diamond services and CityStop. In addition, Marhaba Services also offer visa delivery, floral and limousine services.

In the new Emirates Terminal 3, Marhaba offers a 140-seater lounge and a full Meet and Assist service, both of which can be booked by Emirates passengers travelling through the terminal.
