Batelco will be a Platinum sponsor of the national campaign (Nation's Builders) that will be launched soon to mark the Kingdom's National Day and the succession day of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Organisations from the private and public sectors will contribute to the event that aims to highlight achievements made during the era of HM the King.

"Batelco has contributed to building the Kingdom's state-of-the-art telecommunication infrastructure over decades of its operation, which significantly helped in the various aspects of developments that the Kingdom of Bahrain has witnessed," said Shaikh Hamad.

He confirmed that Batelco would continue with its development programmes that started years ago as part of its commitment to supporting the local community.

He said the company's endeavours to be the leader in the telecommunications sector would be a prime goal in its future strategy.

"We are proud to support such national events that show our loyalty and gratitude to our wise leadership and all Bahraini workers who contributed and are still contributing to the development of our beloved Kingdom," concluded Shaikh Hamad.

Receiving the sponsorship cheque from Batelco GM Corporate Affairs Nadia Hussain, Operetta General Supervisor Faraj Al-Qassimi praised Batelco's generous initiative.

"Batelco's Board of Directors have exerted great effort to ensure the success of the campaign and the National Operetta that will be held as part of the National Day celebrations," said Mr. Al-Qassimi.
