The promotion which runs from the 18-31 October, 2008 at all the three Sharaf DG stores- at Times Square Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road, Deira City Centre or Ibn Battuta Mall, has been drawing hordes of shoppers hoping to win one of the 2000 exciting Samsung products that are being offered as prizes.

So far over 250 prizes have been given away to lucky customers.

Commenting on the promotion, Mr Nilesh Khalkho, CEO, Sharaf DG said,

"Every year during Gitex Sharaf DG offers customers unprecedented deals and offers across our whole range of electronics and IT products. This year in addition, we have come out with a unique and tantalizing promotion called 'The Key to Fortune', which has largely accounted for a huge surge in footfall and sales in our stores. We are happy to exclusively tie up with Samsung, one of the world's recognized leaders in digital technology, and reward shoppers with the chance to win fantastic prizes".

The 'Key to Fortune' promotion extends to customers who spend Dhs500 and above at Sharaf DG. On presentation of their invoice at the 'game' area, they get to choose one out of the ten 'vaults' containing various prizes ranging from Samsung LCD TVs, home theatres, DVD players, MP3s mobile phones to cameras, printers, home appliances and much more.

They then have to choose a key that will unlock the chosen vault. Shoppers who spend Dhs500 - 1999 get one chance; Dhs2000 - 3999 get 2 chances and Dhs4000 and above get 3 chances.

Another attraction is a raffle draw where customers who spend Dhs100 and above will get a chance to win one of ten Vmoto bikes.

There are jaw dropping exclusive offers, fabulous free gifts and cross-promotions on a whole range of electronics, gaming products, MP3 players, cameras, mobile phones and IT products.

Customers can check out the Annihilator, the fastest gaming PC that is retailed exclusively at Sharaf DG, Sonim GSM cell phone - certified to be the world's most toughest cell phone with WAP and Bluetooth, the world's slimmest LCD and other new technologies and products that have been recently launched.

Sharaf DG has decided this year to opt out of Gitex Shopper and run in-store promotions instead.
