The aim of the program is to reward top technology resellers in the region with chances to attend the Malaysian Grand Prix 2003 taking place in Kuala Lumpur on March 23rd. Eliot Shepherd, marketing director at Tech Data said: "Formula One winners are leaders, team players and have a relentless desire to champion. This is the spirit we would like to carry and spread to our customers, staff and vendor partners throughout this year."
Along with rewarding top resellers with fully sponsored trips to Malaysia, Tech Data will reward resellers on a daily basis, and throughout the month of January, with a variety of valuable prizes. Competing resellers will monitor their position in the race from a virtual racing track that Tech Data is hosting on its website.
Shepherd ended: "With this competition, we kickoff an exciting year that carries Tech Data's objective to continue growing profitability and leadership in the channel."
