Iseeb Rehman, Managing Director, Sherwoods Independent Property Consultants, said:
"We are pleased to team up with the Al Hamra Golf Club for this noble initiative. Breast cancer affects almost one in ten women globally, which is an alarming statistic. However, what is encouraging is the fact that early detection increases the chances of survival by up to 98%."
"Corporate Social Responsibility is high on the agenda for Sherwoods as we believe in the importance of giving something back to the communities we operate in, and in line with this we regularly involve ourselves in various community-oriented initiatives. We are confident that the 'Pink Ribbon' golf competition will generate major response, not only from golfing enthusiasts but also people who want to contribute towards a worthy cause," he added.
Sherwoods recently signed a major partnership agreement for the "Help us build a brighter future" Ramadan campaign of the Dubai Centre for Special Needs (DCSN). The partnership, one of several projects under Sherwoods' CSR program, aims to help DCSN create social awareness about its operations and generate financial support from individuals and corporate organisations in the UAE.
