Dr. Mohammed Al Shehhi; Deputy to the Administrative Director, said:
"we were approached by a very interesting mass of talented students who were keen on knowing more about the university and the possibility of learning French before specializing. It had also been a good experience for us to learn where our university stands in the market and get to know the market's key players. It was also a pride for PSUAD to promote during the exhibition the opening of the first Arabic studies, with the launch of a BA in Arabic language, literature and civilization."
It is worth mentioning that PSUAD has opened for this academic year Professional Master Program in Teaching French as a foreign language, intended for Arab speakers, and a university diploma followed by a Master degree in International Law, Diplomacy and International Relations. At the BA level, PSUAD has introduced a new BA program in Economics and Management which ranks already among the top five of the BA offered at PSUAD.
The university also plays an active role as a Research and Cultural Center. As Abu Dhabi is growing into a hub for the Arab World culture, Paris-Sorbonne Abu Dhabi serves this objective by frequently hosting cultural events within that frame. This aspect of PSUAD profile as well as student-life and cultural activities on campus, were source of great interest for students and professionals.
Admission Committee also explained that in case students had no experience with the French language, the university offers an Intensive French program that lasts for an entire year. The university follows the LMD European system for Higher Education that is Licence, Master, and Doctorate; where students receive their bachelor degree (European Licence) in three years, followed by a 2-year-Master Program, to finally study on different intervals the Doctorate. PSUAD degree is accepted and accredited at all universities belonging to the European Union.
