'Light of Bahrain', a mixed-use freehold and serviced apartments development in a 44 storey iconic structure and 'Reflections of Bahrain', a project that will include three towers, one of which will be a 240-room four star business hotel and the others mixed-use freehold and serviced apartments, as well as restaurants and a retail arcade.
The project are certain to be a boost to the Kingdom's economy and reiterate IDC's confidence in Bahrain's real estate market. Upon completion both structures are set to be landmark features on the Shaikh Hamad causeway.

IDC is also showcasing its flagship development, Dilmunia, a $1.6bn man made health island, at BIPEX 2008. Reclamation works are well underway on the 1.25 million- square- metre island, Dilmunia, which will transform the north east coast of Bahrain and is set to revolutionize health care in the Kingdom and turn it into a hub for international health tourism.
Dilmunia will feature state-of-the-art facilities such as a diagnostic centre, nutrition and diabetes centre, cosmetic surgery, aesthetic medicine centre, women and children centre, alternative medicine centre and sports medicine centre. The project will highlight holistic well being through its wellness centres and a range of five star deluxe spas and boutique hotels, as well as provide facilities for residential clusters, commercial facilities and recreational amenities.
Bahrain International Property Exhibition (BIPEX) is organized by the Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE) and is held under the patronage of H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minster of the Prime Minister's Court, Kingdom of Bahrain. Now in its fifth successful year, BIPEX is widely considered as one of the GCC region's largest property exhibitions with an attendance of over 12,000 visitors. Last year the exhibition showcased assets in excess of $38bn.
