Sony B&P Road Show brings next-generation Media Production Technology to the region

The road show will be 'kicking off' its tour of the Middle East region and Africa, with Bahrain to showcase the latest in Sony B&P media production innovations. On show will be the latest next-generation range of Sony media production tools, including the DVCAM and Editmaster series, a complete modular and flexible system aimed at meeting a businesses' increasingly sophisticated communication needs.

"Sony B&P has identified a growing need for affordable, state-of-the-art media production technology to be available to a wider audience that includes the corporate and business world as well as individuals who seek to develop and improve their communication capabilities," said Nigel Thompson, Key Accounts Sales Manager, Sony B&P MEA. There will be a special focus on the DVCAM and Editmaster systems, a range of media production tools that include both video and audio editing, video acquisition, news production, media storage and management capabilities in addition to media encoding. They offer a modular and scalable setup and by combining elements from the DVCAM and Editmaster product ranges, virtually any production requirement can be supported. For example, Sony B&P will be showcasing their 'studio in a bag' which literally provides high-quality media production capabilities in a completely portable solution.

The road show will continue from Bahrain to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Iran, Dubai, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Ethiopia, Oman, Sudan, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and Kuwait.
