This total is in addition to services and product demonstrations on show for people with special needs; from Etisalat Services companies; Etisalat's International subsidiaries; Etisalat Carrier & Wholesale; and international organizations, Cisco, Microsoft, Avaya and FT Orange.

Etisalat participated in both GulfComms exhibition and Gitex Shopper. It was the sponsor of Gitex Digital Game World which was taking place in the Consumer Electronics halls and a major participant in the Gitex global conference.
Etisalat launched several new services for businesses, consumers and other telecommunications companies during Gitex. The following is a summary of the major announcements:
• Etisalat launched the much awaited All-in-One service at Gitex. The platform offers benefits of convenience, coverage and value to its customers by combining three of Etisalat's most popular services - fixed-line Broadband Internet, Cable TV and Landline services - delivered by a single access network. All-in-One will deliver significant value to Etisalat's customers through its integrated customer service, combined value-added services, one-time installation and single bill/payment.
• Etisalat also showcased a bundle of solutions for businesses and enterprises. It launched its Xpress Connect service which is a new IP based service offering MPLS Layer-2 connectivity. Xpress Connect will give customers a private and secure network that can offer flexible connectivity with Ethernet access speed of upto 1 GB between offices locally and worldwide.
• Targeting the international mobile operator community, Etisalat Carrier and Wholesale Services unveiled its latest addition to its comprehensive suite of wholesale mobile communications services. Etisalat's Roaming Replicator allows client mobile operators to mirror Etisalat UAE's extensive roaming services to over 510 destinations covering BlackBerry services, 3.5G services, Push Mail, SMS, Voice, MMS and other voice and data services.
• Etisalat also announced its strategy for the retail of mobile devices and terminals across 17 countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Etisalat is negotiating purchase contracts with international vendors and Own Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) on behalf of its subsidiaries. During Gitex, Etisalat announced three agreements with Huawei, Nokia and ZTE.
• E-Marine PJSC, the leader in submarine cable installation, maintenance and repair in the Middle East and a subsidiary of Etisalat Services showcased the latest addition to its fleet - a new world class Remote Operated Vehicle system, named CMROV280 which is capable of undertaking all aspects of cable maintenance, seabed survey and cable burial work of long duration at water depth up to 2500m.
• Sister E-Services Company, Directory Enquiries launched a new Mobile Yellow pages portal in association with the Al Wahda-Express LLC. This allows all mobile customers to access the online yellow pages directory by simply logging on to http://www.yellowpages.ae through their GPRS or 3G enabled mobile phones.
Etisalat announced its international subscriber base across its seventeen markets has exceeded 74 million, including fixed-line, Internet, cable TV and mobile subscribers. Etisalat's subsidiaries can be located in Afghanistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Indonesia, India, Nigeria, Sudan, Benin, Gabon, Burkina Faso, Togo, the Central African Republic, Niger, the Ivory Coast, Tanzania and the UAE.
