R&M regional sales increase by 119% in 2007

R&M Middle East and Africa, the Swiss cabling specialist, celebrated its 10th anniversary in style with the attendance of the Swiss General Consul in Dubai, Senior R&M Board of Directors, customers & partners from across the region.

R&M MEA's regional office the fastest growing of R&M's subsidiaries world-wide - recorded impressive sales performance for the Middle East with increase in sales well in excess of 119% in 2007 in comparison to the year before.

Commenting on the 10th anniversary celebrations, Martin Reichle, CEO of R&M, said:
"The past 10 years have been an exciting journey for R&M in the Middle East; a unique region known for its rapid growth & huge market potential as well as its prolific rise to becoming one of the leading business hubs of the world. Last year we closed on Dhs77m representing an increase of 119% from the previous year and outlook for this year is to reach Dhs120m by end of the year. We are very proud to be playing a focal role in providing the MEA market with powerful, reliable, Swiss communication networks."


One of the company's key strengths is its close proximity to customers in the Middle East, with its regional HQ located in Dubai and offices in Saudi, Egypt and Jordan supporting partners and underpinning R&M's commitment to the region. R&M MEA customers are assured to receive rapid and flexible responses wherever they are in MEA region.
