Chairman of KMBS Board of Trustees Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Sultan Al Essa, added, "KMBS has students from very diverse backgrounds studying in its campus. It is interesting to see this convergence of students from different backgrounds and industries working in tandem to contribute to the Kuwaiti society. NBK have always been at the forefront of investing in young talent. These MBA graduates have a lot to offer to Kuwait's banking and business community."
KMBS is a non-profit post-graduate business school dedicated to improving the economy of Kuwait, and is the counterpart of Maastricht School of Management (MsM), Netherlands. MsM is a globally networked management school, and has counterparts in some 20 countries and more than 2000 participants graduate every year as either a Master or Doctor in Business Administration. KMBS gives participants the opportunity to study for an internationally recognized and internationally accredited MBA in Kuwait. Since it was established in 2003, KMBS has enrolled more than 1,000 participants. The MBA program at KMBS seeks to raise the standards of management knowledge and practice to meet the needs of the local and global business environment.

Dr. Imad Al-Atiqi - Secretary General and Chairman of the Council for Private Universities mentioned the importance of enhancing the relationship between the higher education sector and the business sector in Kuwait.
The presentations ended by Mr. Cornel Fourie - Head of HR Kuwait explaining the future of NBK Human Resource and explained about the opportunities available in the group.
The program started with opening remarks by NBK's Group CEO, Ibrahim S. Dabdoub who also is a member of the board of Trustees of KMBS. Following; Dr. Al Essa spoke on the relevance of the KMBS-MBA program in meeting the needs of the banking and the business sector in the Kuwait market.
Officials from the NBK group were also present at the event, sharing their expertise and highlighting the opportunities available to MBA graduates in the banking sector.
It is interesting to note that KMBS is the first graduate school in Kuwait to offer a private MBA degree to students in Strategic and General Management. The institution offers opportunity of Part-Time MBA for employees with attendance being after working hours.
The event was well attended by all KMBS Alumni and prospected students who graduate in 2009, with the presence of both NBK and KMBS Executive Management and KMBS professors.
