DTCM Online E-Services showcased at Gitex 2008

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) showcased all its online E-services in the biggest tech show in the region, Gitex 2008 which ran from the 19th till 23rd of October 2008 in Dubai World Trade Centre.
The DTCM website which has millions of hits and around 6,000 unique visitors daily, is constantly updated and its e-services continually improved in line with the Dubai E-government initiative by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-president an Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
DTCM features more than 17 e-services on its website which include Online Travel Bookings, Interactive Map of Dubai, Dubai E-Complaints and the recently introduced Online Photo Gallery.
As part of promoting Dubai and DTCM's e-services DTCM also launched an online 'Dubai Quiz' at Gitex 2008, open to all visitors of the website.
To participate in this promotion, visitors were required to answer 20 questions; and winners got the chance to receive interesting prizes in the form of Dhow Cruise trips in Dubai, 2 nights free stay in 5 star hotels, Desert Safaris, City Tours and Meals at exclusive restaurants.
The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) is dedicated to increase the number of visitors through various promotions, online services, exhibitions and road-shows in the region and around the world.
