RTA campaigns the services of licensing agency, benefits to customers stressed

Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) is moving ahead with a campaign to introduce the public to the services rendered by RTA Licensing Agency.

The Campaign includes the distribution of introductory brochures to the widest possible clientele in the emirate of Dubai.

These brochures describe the services offered by the Agency and the ways through which the Customer Service Centers in the Government of Dubai can benefit from them.

The CEO of RTA Licensing Agency Ahmed Bahrozyan said that the aim of the campaign & distribution of brochures to government bodies is to ensure delivery of the correct information about the services offered by the Agency throughout its branches to the widest possible number of clients.

The campaign also intends to acquaint the public with the procedures & rules in place to ensure maximum benefit and save their time & effort.

"The campaign also seeks to promote the interaction & cooperation of RTA with both customers and various agencies & government departments in Dubai. It also intends to deliver awareness messages and best services to the residents of the emirate. RTA envisages such a step to have a considerable effect on realizing the intended objectives."


"Services rendered by the Agency include drivers licensing, vehicles licensing and commercial licensing. The Agency has recently overhauled the rules governing licensing and transport operators across the emirate in accordance with the approved systems. It has also reviewed procedures governing investigations in accidents and issuance of periodical reports to improve the level of safety and avoid the occurrence of accidents in future. The Agency also reviewed and analyzed details of previous accidents based on basic databases, as well as other aspects related to audit, monitoring, and provision of data related to health, safety and environment. It has also designed training courses in the field of safety & environment at the agency level, as part of a drive to realize RTA's vision of ' safe & smooth transport for all", added Bahrozyan.
