Emirates launches service to LA

Emirates has become the Middle East's first airline to link the region with the US West Coast. The non-stop service to Los Angeles left Dubai at 08.30am on Sunday 26 October 2008. The Emirates Boeing 777 flight is expected to arrive in Los Angeles at 13.30pm on the same day. The new service is aimed at targeting the large concentration of people of Middle Eastern and South Asian origin based in LA and other West Coast cities.
