The fifth edition of the annual event will be held from October 28 to October 30, 2008 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Italian Pavilion at the PLME is being set up by the Italian Trade Commission-Trade Promotion Section of the Italian Embassy in the UAE, the government body responsible for the development of trade between Italy and rest of the world.

Commenting on the participation of a record number of Italian firms in this year's edition of PLME, Mr. Francesco Alfonsi, Trade Commissioner, said:
"We are very excited to be part of Private Label Middle East 2008 with twenty companies this year compared to only eight companies in 2007. The event offers an ideal platform for Italian companies to demonstrate their wares to the dynamic and ever-growing Middle East market and gives the local companies mainly traders, hotels, beauty and wellness centers a great opportunity to enhance their image by making from an excellent variety of Italian products their own."

The Italian companies exhibiting at the Private Label Middle East show include: Alpha Dermo Line (private label cosmetics); Azienda Poggio Felice SRL (products in oil and wine vinegar); Brazzale SPA (butter and cheese); Clarissa Nails SRL (product for nail care and permanent make up); Compagnia del Caffe' (roast coffee);Dental Cleaning SRL (dental floss, inter-dental brushes and toothbrushes); Deoflor SPA (air fresheners, perfumed wc blocks); Esseplast SRL (contemporary consumer designed house wares); Europea SPA (producers and exporters of rice); Fallini Formaggi SRL (dried grated cheese); Frediani Del Greco SPA (Virgin olive oil); Gi Picco's Cosmetics SRL (make-up contract manufacturer); Homeofisi SRL (thalassotherapy in cosmetics); NYL Laboratories SRL (food supplements and cosmetic products); Pasticceria Sua Maesta (pastries); Saltari SRL (producers of biscuits); Solania SRL (peeled canned tomatoes); Tornisia Aziende Agricole (producers of olives); and Turati Idrofilo SPA (producers of cotton wool products).
