The promotion, which runs from the 1st of October to the 31st of December 2008, is based on a simple construct - Emirates NBD cardholders have to simply compare their credit card numbers with the authorization code on the charge slip they receive from the POS terminal - depending on the number of digits that match, they stand to win guaranteed cash back of the total purchase amount; there is no customer registration process.
The chances of the numbers matching up are greatly enhanced by the presence of four different categories. In case the last 2 digits match of the card and authorization code match, the customer stands to win 5% cash back on the transaction amount. A last 3 digit match brings with it 10% cash back while a last 4 digit match carries 25% cash back. The last 5 digit match will give the cardholder incredible 100% cash back. And if this was not incentive enough, all Emirates NBD credit cardholders spending Dhs500 or more in a month are automatically entered into a draw to win a kilo of gold, every month.
With a host of festivals falling during the promotion period, Emirates NBD would like to extend their festival greeting to all its Cardholders.
