Nissan Urvan proves itself as Nissan's light commercial vehicle in region

Once again, the Nissan Urvan has proven itself to be Nissan's most successful light commercial vehicle in the region by exceeding last year's recorded sales for the period of April to August 2008.

Significant growth in Urvan sales has been gained within the GCC market, especially in the UAE and the Qatari markets with 16% and 60% growth respectively over the same period.

Ibrahim Abou Samra, Head, Light Commercial Vehicle Business Unit at Nissan Middle East FZE, commented:
