For hospitals, rising population, patient safety, and quality expectations within an evolving regulatory framework offers a
unique opportunity to take global best practice and deliver transformation that will provide world class patient care for nationals,
residents and the international healthcare tourists that the region seeks to attract.

According to E3, The Healthcare Transformation Company, dramatic, IT-driven transformation is the key to unlocking the potential of the regional healthcare industry to improve patient care.

Hospitals throughout the region are in the process of acquiring state of the art clinical equipment and systems, many hospitals are reevaluating hospital management technologies.

Such systems are essential in effectively managing the people, material, and finances necessary to allow the hospital to execute its mission for patient care.

"More effective resource allocation and management allows hospitals to reinvest in staff training and other opportunities for improving clinical care, enhancing patient services and overall customer experience," says E3 CEO, Muwaffa Lahham.

"This is a unique opportunity for transformation that the Middle East industry cannot afford to miss, and some of the more visionary healthcare providers are already ahead of the game.

"Transformation is about bringing dramatic improvements to all aspects of the hospital so that patients receive better care; investors make
better returns; hospitals can grow their patient load; and the hospital can attract and retain world-class medical staff."

Under the patronage of His Excellency Humaid Mohammed Obeid Al Qattami, UAE Minister of Health, E3 will host a private executive seminar on healthcare transformation on 2nd November 2008, bringing together visionary solutions providers and institutions from the US and Europe
together with industry leaders from the MENA region.
