SAOGE confirms oil and gas companies from 30 countries to be in Kingdom

More than 190 exhibitors from over 30 countries will be attending the first Saudi Arabian Oil and Gas Exhibition (SAOGE) at the Dhahran International Exhibition Centre declaring it a sell-out.

SAOGE 2008, sponsored by Saudi Aramco, takes place from the 17th to 19th November and will be the major event for the Oil and Gas Industry in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia that will attract high level technical experts and key industry professionals.

In response to the positive reaction received by the international exhibitors Mr. Adel A. Aloumi, Director General at the Dhahran International Exhibition Centre said,
"The strong and positive response of the global companies is a clear indication of SAOGE's recognition as one of the largest exhibition of its kind. To see every exhibitor slot filled is testament to the need for a specialist oil and gas exhibition in Eastern Province. SAOGE is firmly establishing itself as an annual event and we have already set dates for SAOGE 2009."


The exhibitors, who, together, represent the major international oil companies, equipment makers and national oil and gas manufacturers of the world, will be showcasing their successful projects and systems, as well as announcing new developments and products during SAOGE. Also supported by a high-profile conference programme, SAOGE has confirmed more than 60 speakers who will address various present day topics including the 'present and future of gas' and price instability in the business aspects session.
