James Crichton, Sales and Marketing Director of BMW Group Middle East, said:
"We are committed to maintaining a premium service that is in line with the premium nature of the BMW brand. The Sales Certification programme ensures that each sales executive is comprehensively trained in all aspects of the brand to unify product knowledge with our premium values, while delivering the highest level of customer service across the region."
At the end of each course, participants are tested on the material taken with an expected passing grade of 70%. After completing the initial courses additional modules can be taken to develop skill sets further such as Advanced Selling Skills and Advanced Prospecting.
"The long-term training initiative ensures that our sales executives are equipped with the right skills to best represent our brands and deliver excellent results. Our approach to delivering and maintaining a premium, standardised business underscores BMW Group Middle East's approach to constantly raising the bar in the premium luxury automotive sector," said Roland Rahme, Sales Training Manager of BMW Group Middle East.
Initiated in 2002, the Middle East was the first market to implement the BMW Sales Certification programme. So far 137 sales executives have graduated since the start of the programme with constant monitoring and assessments continuing well after the training to guarantee that all skills learnt are put into practice on the 'floor.'
