  • United Arab Emirates: Monday, October 27 - 2008 at 14:06
  • PRESS RELEASE

BenQ, the world's leading Digital Light Processing (DLP) projector supplier has displayed its latest digital lifestyle DLP projectors at an exclusive Dealer Seminar held at Le Meriden Hotel in Abu Dhabi on 23rd October.

The meet brought together over 100 partners including various resellers and dealers who have helped in expanding BenQ's product reach, frequency and penetration in various important sectors including corporate, education, small & medium businesses, construction and hospitality.

Products showcased at the day long event included the entire portfolio of BenQ projectors - Short throw projectors - MP512ST, MP522ST, MP771 and High Brightness Projectors - SP870, SP920.

"These meetings are all about thanking our partners. As a company dedicated to assist partners in expanding their reach within our target markets BenQ has always released its latest offerings to partners and presented them with our future road map well in advance,"

said Manish Bakshi, General Manager, BenQ Middle East and Africa.

Presentations from the key note speakers on the latest BenQ Projectors were the key highlight of the show. Mr. S. Ganesh, Senior Business Development Manager, DLP products, Texas Instruments Inc., special guest for the event gave a brief presentation on BenQ TI Partnership.

All BenQ projectors use the Texas Instruments (DLP) technology (a patented technology from Texas Instruments), which provides necessary motive power to make the pictures look sharper. This industry recognised technology improves colour accuracy and enables better use of lamp spectrum to achieve brighter projection. Plus, all DLP projector components are completely sealed so that dust cannot affect the image.

BenQ is one of the first DLP global manufacturing customers to release a product leveraging the DLP technology. The BenQ TI synergy has worked wonders in the projector market since inception and currently BenQ Middle East is the top selling DLP vendor in the region.

"We have worked closely for more than ten years now and we look forward to a continued association with the leading manufacturer of digital lifestyle products,"

said S. Ganesh.

The BenQ Dealer Seminar helps in spreading the company's product reach & penetration thereby facilitating a smooth and uninterrupted distribution and supply chain arrangement. This annual gathering helps the company share this objective amongst respective dealers and partners so it ultimately percolates to the end users.

"These Dealer Seminars are all about enabling our partners to be influencers of our business decisions by exposing them first hand to the latest BenQ technologies being rolled out. Driven by a great response and a gamut of advantages, we have decided to host regular seminars once in every six months to providing additional benefits and support our distributors and thereby our customers in times to come," concluded Bakshi.
