CPC, PREMCO Ready-Mix buy new equipment worth $75m for high-end projects

PREMCO Ready-Mix Co., a subsidiary of Construction Products Holding Company (CPC), has purchased new equipment worth $75m to further support its high-end project works in Saudi Arabia.

During the signing of the purchase contracts, Dr. Faysal Alaquil, Director, Business Development and CPC's spokesperson, said:
"The equipment includes modernized batch plants, transit mixers, crushers, concrete pumps and pickup trucks and vans, the purchase orders were from Zahid Tractor, Ibrahim Juffali & Bro. Co., Bekheet Heavy Machineries, and Alesayi Automotive Company."


He further explained, that PREMCO Ready-Mix uses the latest technology to manufacture concrete to the specifications of client projects for Saudi Binladin Group and others at several locations in Saudi Arabia including Jeddah, Riyadh, Makkah, Almadinah, Thowal, Alahsaa and Bahra.

Dr. Alaquil also added: "We will utilize approximately 1,000 highly trained workers and technicians to execute projects at King Abdullah University, Jabal Omar Development Project, Makkah Alrawabi Project, expansion of the Holy Mosque and other projects in Jeddah and Riyadh."
