KFH succeeded in establishing a system of Islamic financial services, like banking services, investment services and insurance company services.

This was a result of 30 years of success, trust and hard work.

Baqer added in a press release after the opening of KFH's newest branch in Salem Al-Mubarak St. Central Plaza complex, Salmiya, that this occasion cements the government's trust in the banking sector and KFH, in addition to its keenness on supporting national corporations.

He added that KFH conveys a positive image for the Kuwaiti private sector and its ability to grow and expand, whether locally or globally, guided by the wise decisions of its management.

The minister took a tour in the branch, and listened to an explanation about the services the bank offers from KFH's CEO Mohammed Al-Omar. Baqer stated after realizing that most of the employees at the branch are Kuwaitis that the Kuwaiti employee just needs guidance to develop and advance to serve his country.

On his behalf, Al-Omar said that the opening of the new branch comes within KFH's strategy of expansion to reach various client segments.

He added that the continuous flow of business and projects proves that KFH is strong and stable, in addition to proving that it has enough liquidity to finance its clients, whether there was a crisis or not.

Moreover, the CEO stressed his appreciation to the procedures that the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) has been taking to preserve and protect the country's economic state.

This is spearheaded by the banking sector, which is the spinal chord for any growth or development.

He added that the CBK has great, accumulated experience from tackling previous issues that Kuwait has overcome. This resulted in a huge success in dodging such crises and preserving the country's economic status.
