Damas expected to command strong presence during Dubai International Jewellery Week

Damas, the international jewellery and watch retailer in the Middle East, is once again expected to command strong presence during Dubai International Jewellery Week (DIJW), slated on November 11-15, 2008, at Dubai International Exhibition Centre.

The 101-year old jewellery house will introduce new trends through its extensive offerings, most of which are being shown in the region for the first time. Exciting promotions and events are also lined up during the 5-day expo.

Tawhid Abdullah, Managing Director of Damas, commented:

Jewellery lovers will be treated to a selection of the world's most exclusive diamond, gold and pearl jewellery pieces including Baraka, Fope, Genero, Marco Bicego, Roberto Coin, Calgaro, Carrera y Carrera, Mikimoto, Rosato, Laurentia, Faberge, Magerit and Masriera. These are on top of the in-house brands that will be showcased, which have been developed by Damas through the years.

A special section of the exhibit will focus on high-end signature timepieces from top watchmakers Parmigiani, Girard Perregaux, Perrelet, Sarcar, Chalyano and Precious, some of which will be on limited supply only. The jewellery house will occupy a sleek and stylish stand which reflects the global identity of the Damas brand.
