Join the fun with Etisalat's "Online Gaming Platform"

Targeted at online gamers, this platform will be first such initiative in the region and will provide access to the latest and greatest game titles, for mobiles and PCs, XBOX360, PS3 and Nintendo Wii; along with most comprehensive capabilities and functionalities including an online gaming portal, latest game titles, gamer zone (blogs), reviews, previews game demos and downloads, videos, trailers and new releases.

Driven by advanced community participation, Etisalat's Online Gaming Platform will be commercially available to users in the UAE in early 2009.

The platform will prove to be a boon for the gaming community in the UAE, who have been waiting for such a service to launch in this part of the world.

The platform will also allow users to contribute and build the site through interactive sections such as blog and sharing of game scores and online gaming challenges.

Built on top of an extensive network of Etisalat powered gaming servers, the Platform will be home base for a massive Online Gaming Presence in the UAE.

Etisalat will also leverage its capabilities in the UAE to have these competitions simulcast via its television service as well as regionally by sending the video of the competitions to a satellite and offering the feed to any broadcaster who wants to offer the event via their television channel or even directly to user's that can access the satellite signal.

Etisalat's Online Gaming Platform will enable telecom operators and ISPs that peer with Etisalat to use this platform to enter the lucrative and fun-filled online gaming business and earn additional revenues from online gamers while leveraging the reach of Etisalat in the region.
