The symposium was held at the Ras Al Khaimah Exhibition Centre and saw a tremendous response, with high female attendance.

Commenting on the occasion, H.E. Ahmed Mohammed Al Midfa, Deputy Chairman of Ruwad Establishment, said that the seminar was aimed at improving the skills of participants, raising awareness of domestic industries and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and highlighting their significant contribution to national sustainable economic growth, thus encouraging families to establish their own home-based business.

"We want to introduce the concept of productive community among society's members and familiarize them with the basics of running a small enterprise by improving the essential administrative, financial and marketing skills required to manage a project," he said.

"This scheme comes as a result of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Ruwad Establishment and the Ministry of Social Affairs a few months ago. Together, we have provided a group of renowned consultants and established experts specializing in the fields of training, and we have also addressed all other requirements to make this program a success," he added.
