Arguably, Freej is one of the motivations behind brining the first and only dedicated trade event in the Middle East for marketing and licensing of cartoon characters, logos, films, brands, arts and designs to the Dubai International Exhibiton Centre.
"FREEJ is a national dream that required a lot of effort and hard work from many directions to make it a reality."said Mohammed Saeed Harib, Lammtara.
"One of our objectives was to explore the commercial reach of intellectual property through licensing, franchising, product placement, corporate partnership and others; having seen what the brand has achieved so far and the interest it spurred is a tangible proof that Lammtara has achieved this goal."
Driven by the overwhelming success of FREEJ that was voted as the best Arabic show on TV for 2006 and 2007, the FREEJ brand has been franchised to over 20 licensees of different industries.
Varying from school stationary items and office supplies, bakery patisseries to jewelry and perfumes, the FREEJ branded products are available in over 500 outlets around the UAE.
"We are proud to see big companies trusting the FREEJ brand and investing in it, and are proud to share our experience with a wide audience of industry leaders at this fair."added Harib.
"This industry has a bright and exciting future in the Middle East, and we are proud to be one of the first brands to set the stage for that."
Since its inception FREEJ attracted sponsorship and brand associations by the likes of du, Emirates Airlines and Nakheel, as well as the creation of the FREEJ in DUBAILAND, first theme park dedicated completely to the Arabic culture.
