UAE to invest $40m in Pakistani agriculture project

The UAE is to invest $40m in an agriculture project in Balochistan, the south-western province of Pakistan, reported Khaleej Times. The agreement will enable UAE government and a private international farming company, Al Dahra, to set up an agriculture-based industry covering 18,000 acres of land in Mirani Dam command area to cultivate wheat, cotton, pulse and other grains.
