Explorer Publishing donate cash for School's Everest Expedition

Wellington International School's Everest Expedition has received a boost with a donation from Explorer Publishing, one of the leading publishers' in the Middle East. The trek is set to place on 2nd November 2008, with 10 students who will embrace the challenge.

Starting from Lukla and trekking via Everest Base Camp and Gokyo before returning to Lukla, the hike will take 18 days and cover 120 km.

Neville Hopwood, Hike Leader and Teacher, Wellington International School comments:
"The students have been training for nine months for the Everest Base Camp Expedition, it is one of the most beautiful and demanding treks in the world. Completing this expedition is an amazing accomplishment and it's achievements like this that will have a positive impact on our students' lives."
