KM Properties receives "Leading Islamic Real Estate Project Award" for TAMANI Hotels and Resorts

It received the award for developing the Artisan Cluster which comprises the TAMANI Arts Offices, TAMANI Arts Hotel and Royal Suites, the TAMANI Hotel at Park Lane & Offices Tower, the B2B Tower managed by TAMANI Exclusive and TAMANI Hotel Marina.


The award was bestowed by the Councils of Saudi Arabia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at an award ceremony during the Real Estate Investment World Summit which took place October 19-20 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Awardees were selected on the basis of the pre-set criteria such as scale of the project, design, use of materials, use of alternative technologies, sustainability elements, and types of funds offered, customer service, financial knowledge, innovation and adherence with the Shari'ah principles.

Out of 164 nominations received worldwide, 35 companies have been selected to compete for the eight Awards: being Best Islamic Real Estate Project, Leading Real Estate Developer, Best Sustainable Project, Leader in Islamic Hospitality, Leading Islamic Financing Institution, Best Islamic Fund Manager, Best Islamic Real Estate Fund, Leading Entrepreneur of the Year.

H.E. Shaikh Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki, Chairman of Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry joined by leading Saudi Arabia authorities, high profile dignitaries and corporate VVIPs comprising of Chairmen, Presidents and Managing Directors of leading industry companies in the region and the Gulf, presented the award to KM Properties for TAMANI Hotels and Resorts at the grand gala opening for the Real Estate Investment World Summit which recognizes and rewards leading companies for achieving excellence in the real estate and hospitality development industry.

KM Properties and TAMANI Hotels and Resorts along with other winners were chosen by a panel of judges composed of impartial independent industry experts appointed by the Councils of Saudi Commerce and Industry.

Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) heralded TAMANI Hotels and Resorts as the First UAE Islamic Hotel brand when it formally opened its flagship hotel property the TAMANI Hotel Marina in mid-February 2008.

TAMANI Hotel Marina, located in the upscale Dubai Marina area, holds the distinction of being the tallest all-suites business hotel in Dubai at 55 storeys overlooking the spectacular The Palm Jumeirah and Burj Al Arab and the Dubai cityscape.

This distinction is currently unmatched by any other hotel in Dubai and the Gulf.

The Leaders for Real Estate Investments' Awards is a significant feature of the Real Estate Investment World Summit where leading real estate companies, hotel developers, investment entities and planners of the region are selected and given recognition for pioneering practices and products with excellence in promoting Islamic concepts and principles.

The Real Estate Investment World Summit is the first event of its kind in the region organised by Naseba and officially hosted by the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
