- PRESS RELEASE
The Welsh Assembly Government's international trade and investment arm, International Business Wales (IBW), will be attending their second ADIPEC show this year, bringing with them a strong delegation of specialist companies, reflecting Wales's innovation, quality and breadth of expertise in the sector.
Many of the companies attending ADIPEC have already secured significant deals with local firms from IBW's efforts in the region, including, Teddington Engineered Solutions, who manufacture and design bellows expansion joints and associated products. Teddington have enjoyed much success in the Middle East, and in May this year secured a deal worth $1.56m in Saudi Arabia.
Lee Jennings, Vice President (Middle East), International Business Wales, said: "The Oil and Gas sector is a fairly niche one for Wales, we have a handful of specialist companies whose knowledge and expertise in the industry is unparalleled, we are excited about making this experience available to companies in the Middle East and are confident that it can benefit the region immensely"
Since opening its Dubai office in 2004, International Business Wales has helped more than 500 Welsh companies conduct business in the region. It regularly organises trade missions and business to business meetings, allowing Welsh firms to develop long-term partnerships with local companies.
