Top international brands like Damas, Rivoli Group, Choco'a LLC and Bateel International are among those present at the show, which also includes exhibitors from Australia, Bangladesh, Egypt, Germany, India, Thailand, United Kingdom and the US, among others.
The exhibition has received an overwhelming response with thousands of trade visitors, of which nearly 70 per cent are from outside the UAE, organisers said. Gifts & Premium - Dubai 2008 continues at Hall 7 of Dubai World Trade Centre till tomorrow. The event was inaugurated on Tuesday by His Excellency Abdul Rahman Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI).
In his comments, Mr Justin Boutros, Managing Director of Channels Exhibitions, said:
"We are very happy with the response generated at the show. This year's show is bigger and better than the last year and provides a gamut of opportunities for corporate branding and premium gifting. There are a host of exhibitors offering corporate gifting solutions for companies with big budgets. Given the market boom and increased focus on corporate presence in the region, the gifts and premium market has grown exponentially. We are happy the Gifts & Premium - Dubai has become the melting pot for new business opportunities."
Among those who are participating this year include specialist retailers, department stores, supermarkets, home and lifestyle retailers, duty free, travel retail, distributors, importers, event management companies, media and marketing companies.
One of the exhibitors -- Nishat General Co. LLC -- is showcasing top multinational brands in stationery products. Kish Kothari, Group Sales and Marketing Manager of the company, said: "This is a very good opportunity for us to be at the premier exhibition, which is bringing the dealers, manufactures and corporate decision-makers on a common platform. We are aggressively targeting the duty-free segment from GCC states as well as the corporate branding and luxury gifts sector. At Gifts & Premium, we are showcasing the latest series of writing instruments from Faber-Castell, including the Ambition versions and kids collection."
The exhibition is showcasing a diversity of products from high-quality corporate stationery to high-value trophies, pens, watches as well as novelty giftware and products for festive occasion.
