Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, these two events are the first of their kind in the Middle East and North Africa.
At Character Dubai 2008, DNRD will offer various services to the visitors; companies' representatives will also be able to apply for visas. Another facility 'Tasaheel' will be showcased; a service that will be available to VIPs at Dubai International Airport to allow them entry to Dubai with additional ease and comfort. Furthermore, a booth will be available to answer all questions related to DNRD facilities and services.
Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director of DNRD also stressed the importance of strategic cooperation between government departments and public sector especially with such initiatives that aim to boost the economic development of the UAE.
