The agreement entails Elia Nuqul Foundation's commitment to support twenty five students with scholarships to universities and community colleges covering their full education throughout their presence at the university up until they graduate. The scholarship fund is geared towards providing students with the best opportunities equipping them with the right educational and career tools opening the doors for students to excel and achieve their full potential and position themselves as productive and responsible individuals in their community.

The Elia Nuqul Foundation (ENF) adopts a strategy that combines the right expertise and a winning formula for enabling community members. Its objective is pursued by focusing on several areas, with education as the main platform. ENF therefore aims to provide university, community college and vocational training scholarships for young people who in normal circumstances do not have the means to attain higher education. Thus, providing them with the incentives and opportunities to learn, develop and rebuild their lives.

Upon signing the agreement, Mr. Ghassan Nuqul, Vice Chairperson of Elia Nuqul Foundation, said:
"We believe that in order to invest in our communities, we should invest in education and the skills needed to enter the Jordanian Market. Education is not limited to classrooms; its positive impact is realized long beyond graduation, it is the gate towards a brighter future. Through our sponsorship we teach our students to be part of their communities and to strive to make a difference by being ENF's voice in their societies."

Mr. Nuqul added, "The foundation has been a dream in the making, not only for Elia Nuqul but for the whole family and the institution of Nuqul Group who share the same passion and commitment. It represents the beginning of an important era that aims to inspire future generations with the Founder's vision institutionalizing and strengthening their endeavors in the area of philanthropy in order to maximize impact and benefit across our Kingdom."

Ms. Eman Nimri, Deputy Executive Director of JOHUD commented:
"This partnership represents an important milestone for the Goodwill Campaign; it helps us reach a greater number of young people from under privileged areas and broaden their opportunities through access to education, thus, providing them with better job opportunities to lead productive lives."

The Goodwill Campaign was established in 1991 to alleviate poverty and unemployment. The campaign progressed over the years to work all year round through the JOHUD network of 50 Community Development Centers. It has proven to be an integral support to Jordan's poverty alleviation drive at the national level, and a key component of Jordan's development sector. Today the campaign is benefiting more than 15,000 children, youth, women, the elderly and disabled every year.

Inspired by the vision of the founder, Elia Nuqul, Nuqul Group launched its philanthropic arm "The Elia Nuqul Foundation" in 2008 with the aim to institutionalize and strengthen philanthropic endeavors to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Jordanians by providing them with enriching opportunities and skills to lead safe, healthy and productive lives.
