The branch offers full commercial banking services and has a business centre for customers to conduct their banking activities through Al Salam Online, Nabeel Al Tattan, Executive Vice President and Head of MENA, said.

Al Tattan affirmed that the move is a clear indicator of the Bank's consistent strategy of providing better services to its clients and strengthening its presence within the local community.

The business centre within the branch is a unique concept that utilizes latest technology and is equipped with state-of-the-art computer systems, Al Tattan said, adding that several banking services can be conducted through Al Salam Online, minimizing the need to queue for services. Meanwhile, the location of the branch would enable customers to attend to their banking activities while their families enjoy the mall's facilities.

"Our clients can also use free of charge other facilities available in the business center such as fax, internet, printing and photocopying. Apart from one ATM located in the branch, there will be three other ATMs spread at various points in the mall.

"Our strategy is based on well-studied expansion locally as we plan to open gradually five branches in total at selected hot spots within the Kingdom of Bahrain," Al Tattan explained.
He pointed out at the bank focuses in its activities on investing in quality assets, that would achieve a high and sustainable growth.

"Our aim will always be to maintain the trust and confidence of the various stakeholders and providing distinguished services to them. The opening of this branch is but one of the steps in this direction," Al Tattan affirmed.
The new branch will be located at level 3 Gate Number 9 in the Bahrain City Centre.
