Sony and HP take top honors at the T3 Middle East Gadget Awards

It was Oscar night for gadgets in the Middle East, as the T3 Middle East Gadget Awards recognized cutting edge innovation and design across 20 varied categories.
The 20 categories of the T3 Gadget Awards 2008 reflected products that have ignited interest in the public domain as also top performers in specific categories, including Design Icon, Best Imaging Phone, Best Gaming Laptop and the ultimate prize of the evening, the T3 Gadget of the Year.
Sony took the honours during Awards night, with a total of 4 awards, in the Best MP3 Player (Sony NW A828), Best Personal Laptop (Sony VAIO VGN-SR13GN), Home Theatre Award (Sony DAV-F500) and Best Gaming Companion (Sony Playstation 3) categories. HP's technology-driven product-base also held strong, with wins in the Best Productivity Tool (HP Ipaq 914), Best Business Notebook (HP 6930p Elite Notebook) and Best Photo Printer (HP A826) categories. In other highlights of the evening, the T3 Jury judged the Apple iPhone 3G as the Most Anticipated Gadget of the Year and voted the exciting Acer Aspire Predator as the T3 Gadget of the year.
