Burger King's presence in the Middle East dates back to 1992 when it launched its first restaurant in the region in KSA, and since then the company has aggressively expanded its operations to emerge as one of the fastest growing QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) chains in the region, in the process bringing significant investment and employment to the local communities in which it operates.
As part of its development schedule for the Middle East, Burger King has drawn up ambitious plans to further expand its presence in the region. Having commenced operations in Egypt in 2007, Burger King is set to open its first restaurant in Oman in the next two months, and is gearing up to enter other countries in the region.
Countries in the MENA region where Burger King currently operates include KSA, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt.
